TMP Designer / TTM Planner (New Zealand Projects)

Location: Remote from Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines, working New Zealand business hours

Salary: Up to Php 98,000 Philippine Peso; final amount depends on the client’s assessment of skills and experience

What you will do

• Prepare and update Traffic Management Plans, traffic management diagrams, and supporting documentation for New Zealand projects.
• Review drawings, work methodologies, site information, project requirements, and risks before developing practical traffic management solutions.
• Prepare and coordinate Corridor Access Requests, permits, and submissions to Road Controlling Authorities.
• Monitor approvals, respond to RCA feedback, and coordinate amendments or requests for additional information.
• Collaborate with Operations, STMS personnel, clients, councils, contractors, and approval authorities.
• Maintain accurate plan records and manage multiple revisions, submissions, approvals, and deadlines.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in traffic management planning, TMP design, or a closely related field.
• Proven experience preparing Traffic Management Plans for New Zealand projects and knowledge of NZGTTM principles and New Zealand RCA requirements.
• Experience preparing Corridor Access Requests, permits, and associated documentation.
• Experience with RapidPlan or comparable traffic management planning software, RCA submission platforms, mapping tools, and document-management systems.
• Ability to interpret project drawings and operational requirements, apply risk-based design, manage multiple deadlines, and work independently.
• Excellent written and spoken English, reliable internet, a professional home office, and availability during New Zealand business hours.

Nice to have

• Current or previous New Zealand TTM Planner or STMS qualification.
• Operational traffic management experience and experience working with multiple New Zealand RCAs.
• Experience planning lane closures, pedestrian management, contraflow, Stop/Go operations, road closures, and other TTM methods.
• Experience managing RCA amendments through approval and working remotely with a New Zealand traffic management company.
