Category Sourcing Manager (Indirect Procurement)

Location: Cork, Ireland; hybrid role with 2 days per week on site

What you will do

• Advise C-suite and senior business leaders on third-party spend, procurement strategy, commercial opportunities, and risk.
• Develop and execute category strategies across IT, Marketing, Professional Services, HR, Facilities, and other corporate services.
• Lead complex sourcing initiatives from market analysis and opportunity identification through negotiation, contracting, implementation, and benefits realization.
• Lead cross-functional sourcing teams with stakeholders from Finance, Legal, and business functions.
• Use procurement data, analytics, enterprise AI, and data storytelling to support fact-based decisions and business cases.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships, performance, commercial value, resilience, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Experienced background in strategic sourcing, category management, and indirect procurement.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience leading complex negotiations.
• Ability to influence C-suite and senior stakeholders and lead through influence.
• Experience with supplier markets, cost drivers, competitive dynamics, risk mitigation, and benefits tracking.
• Capability to use procurement data, analytics, enterprise AI, and data storytelling.
• Availability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Cork, Ireland, with 2 days per week on site.
