Manager — Community Relations and Development (Mining)

Location: Didipio mine, Philippines; reporting in Didipio and Makati required

What you will do

• Lead the External Affairs and Social Performance function at the Didipio mine.
• Develop stakeholder engagement strategies and maintain relationships with communities, Indigenous Peoples, government, NGOs, and civil society.
• Manage social risks, human-rights due diligence, grievances, land-access matters, and community commitments.
• Lead community development, sustainability, and social enterprise programs, including budgets, schedules, and performance reporting.
• Advise site leadership and integrate social performance requirements into operational and project decisions.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Community Relations and Development team while managing resources, contractors, governance, and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Community Development, Public Administration, or a related discipline.
• At least seven years of progressive experience in community relations, social performance, external affairs, sustainability, or related functions.
• Experience in mining or major projects is preferred.
• Demonstrated capability in stakeholder engagement, community development, grievance management, social risk, compliance support, and community partnerships.
• Valid working rights in the Philippines are required; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Ability to report in Didipio and Makati is required.
