Chief of Staff to CIAO and Head of GIA Office (Life Sciences)

What you will do

• Act as a strategic and operational partner to the Chief Intelligence & Analytics Officer and Head of the CEO Office.
• Synthesize market, customer, competitor, molecule, business, analytics, and AI topics into executive briefings and recommendations.
• Translate strategic priorities into roadmaps with outcomes, milestones, accountabilities, dependencies, and success measures.
• Run governance rhythms, leadership meetings, portfolio reviews, and disciplined follow-up on decisions and commitments.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives involving Intelligence, Analytics, AI, Commercial, IT, HR, Finance, Communications, and business platforms.
• Prepare leadership, Board-related, and external engagement materials while maintaining confidentiality.

Requirements

• Many years of experience in corporate strategy, market intelligence, business development, management consulting, or a related field.
• Experience preferably in pharma, biotech, CDMO, or life sciences.
• Strong background in market research, competitive analysis, financial modelling, and strategic recommendations.
• Excellent executive communication, storytelling, problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to lead projects, influence senior cross-functional stakeholders without formal authority, and manage multiple priorities independently.
• Understanding of data, analytics, and AI concepts and their connection to business decisions and value creation.

Nice to have

• MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
