Medical Science Liaison (Immunology) (Biopharma/Medical Affairs): Building scientific partnerships with physicians and Key Opinion Leaders across Africa, supporting disease awareness, medical education, product lifecycle activities, and patient safety with an accent on immunology, clinical evidence, pharmacovigilance, and scientific communication. Focus on translating complex medical data, answering clinical queries, supporting scientific meetings and field-force training, and collecting actionable insights from a 70% field-based territory.
Location: Cairo; 70% field-based with travel within the assigned territory

What you will do
- Build and maintain scientific relationships with physicians, Key Opinion Leaders, healthcare professionals, and institutions across Africa.
- Provide scientific education on immunology, disease pathways, clinical evidence, safety, efficacy, guidelines, and products.
- Organize advisory boards, speaker training, workshops, conferences, and other scientific events.
- Collect insights on clinical trials, physician-initiated research, safety, compliance, prescribing habits, and patient pathways.
- Support speakers and the field force with briefings, presentations, medical training, and responses to scientific queries.
- Ensure adherence to pharmacovigilance procedures, ethical standards, patient-safety requirements, and local and global compliance timelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in medicine or pharmacy.
- Experience as an MSL in the pharmaceutical industry or experience in clinical practice.
- Knowledge of the Egyptian healthcare landscape and ability to work across multiple therapeutic areas.
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory; the role is 70% field-based.
- Fluent English and the ability to work in an international, culturally diverse environment.
- Strong scientific, analytical, communication, presentation, negotiation, and Key Opinion Leader management skills.
