TL;DR
Country Security Lead (CSL) (Information Security): Managing ASML’s security organization and developing country-level security roadmaps for Korea and Japan with an accent on cyber and physical risk, compliance, incident response, and security maturity. Focus on coordinating virtual security teams, overseeing risk mitigation and response plans, advising senior stakeholders, and building security capabilities across both countries.
Location: Hwasung, South Korea; responsibility covers Korea and Japan. Travel to offices in Korea, Japan, and abroad is required at approximately 15%.

What you will do
- Manage the Korea and Japan security organization on behalf of the CISO.
- Develop and execute country-specific security roadmaps aligned with the central security strategy.
- Identify, assess, mitigate, and report security risks with sector Security Risk Managers and the Virtual Security Team.
- Oversee country-specific incident response plans and the handling of security incidents.
- Ensure compliance with information-security laws, regulations, policies, and control frameworks.
- Lead security awareness, capability-building, stakeholder reporting, and governance activities.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of information-security experience, including at least 8 years in physical security and 5 years in IT.
- Strong expertise in enterprise security risk management, governance, compliance, business continuity, and security controls.
- Experience with multiple security frameworks, such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
- Master’s degree in Information Science, Information Security, or equivalent experience.
- Valid industry certification such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Korean are required; Japanese is preferred.

- Knowledge of country-specific information-security laws and regulations in Korea and Japan.
- Japanese-language skills.
