TL;DR
Go Architect / Solution Architect (Go) (Go/distributed systems): Designing and evolving scalable distributed platforms for complex business operations and rapid product growth with an accent on concurrency, reliability, API design, and maintainability. Focus on architecture reviews, high-performance microservices, CI/CD improvements, and integrating AI capabilities into regulated financial systems.
Location: Baku; remote work is available, with office-based and hybrid options also offered.

What you will do
- Design and evolve scalable, distributed systems in Go using appropriate concurrency models.
- Translate business goals into technical plans and delivery roadmaps with Product Managers.
- Identify edge cases, risks, and technical constraints during planning.
- Represent engineering in stakeholder meetings and explain technical decisions in business-focused language.
- Lead code reviews and improve code quality, resilience, reliability, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering processes.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software development experience, including 4+ years of production Go experience.
- Deep knowledge of goroutines, channels, context, the memory model, and concurrency patterns.
- Experience designing distributed, microservice-based, or high-load systems, including REST or gRPC API design and compatibility management.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, message brokers, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, security, scalability, and fault tolerance.
- Experience with AI implementation or configuration within a team and with architecture reviews and technical design documentation.
- Higher education in Computer Science or a related field; experience in fintech, banking, or another regulated domain; Advanced English or higher required.
Nice to have
- Experience with NoSQL databases, Redis, cloud platforms, DDD, event-driven architecture, or SRE practices.
- Previous Architect, Staff Engineer, or Principal Engineer experience.
- Experience integrating AI or LLM components into production systems.
- Open-source Go contributions, relevant cloud certifications, or familiarity with Java, Python, or C++.
