What you will do

• Develop protection and control concepts for high-voltage and medium-voltage substations across international bids and customer projects.
• Serve as the technical authority for protection engineering throughout design, configuration, testing, and commissioning.
• Evaluate customer specifications, identify technical risks, and define compliant and efficient engineering solutions.
• Coordinate interfaces with Substation Automation and Cybersecurity teams to deliver integrated substation systems.
• Mentor engineering colleagues and contribute to technical best practices and capability building.
• Own project deliverables, ensuring quality, schedule adherence, and cost-effective execution.

Requirements

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Around 10 years of experience in protection and control engineering for HV and MV substations in the energy sector.
• Expertise in protection philosophies, relay coordination, disturbance analysis, and advanced protection schemes.
• Hands-on knowledge of protection devices and systems from manufacturers such as Siemens or Hitachi Energy.
• Understanding of IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-101/104, and related substation communication standards.
• Confident English communication skills are required for collaboration with customers, consultants, and international project teams.
