Junior Control and Protection Engineer (f/m/d) (Power Systems)

What you will do

• Support the detailed design, configuration, parameterization, and testing of protection and control systems for HV/MV substations.
• Contribute to control and protection concepts for customer offers and project execution.
• Collaborate with Substation Automation, SCADA, and Cybersecurity Engineering teams.
• Work with experienced engineers, utility operators, and suppliers on secondary control systems.
• Help improve system design, engineering processes, quality, and project compliance.

Requirements

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Understanding of power system fundamentals, including transmission, distribution, and protection principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills, collaborative mindset, and motivation to learn.
• Fluent English required for communication across global teams.
• Relevant protection and control engineering experience is welcome; graduates and early-career professionals are encouraged to apply.
