Focus on executing manual hedges, adjusting exposures and spreads within approved limits, handling desk incidents, and coordinating shift handovers in a regulated environment.
Location: Vienna, Austria; preferably based in Austria, Vienna, but not mandatory.

What you will do
- Operate the 24/7/365 EU Trading Desk on a shift basis, including shift handovers.
- Monitor real-time trading and risk metrics and escalate issues to the Head of Trading Desk or Chief Risk Officer when required.
- Monitor liquidity-provider connectivity, failover procedures, performance, and execution quality.
- Adjust exposure within pre-approved limits and execute manual hedges according to predefined notional thresholds.
- Approve minor spread adjustments in line with internal policy and handle first-level desk incident escalations.
- Coordinate continuously with the Trading Desk team.
Requirements
- Degree in finance, economics, or a comparable qualification is preferred.
- Knowledge and experience with financial instruments, especially derivatives and crypto-assets.
- Knowledge of risk management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, regulated, 24/7/365 operational environment.
- Experience with MT5 trading operations, liquidity connectivity, and risk-management systems is relevant to the role.
