Principal Product Manager - Simple Trading (Crypto)

Location: Remote across EMEA, with the role focused on European markets; Sliema, Malta. Remote work across European time zones is required.

What you will do

• Own optimization of Simple Trading products across key European markets.
• Identify local customer needs and adapt onboarding, fiat funding, buying, selling, swapping, portfolio management, savings, investments, spending, and withdrawal journeys.
• Simplify crypto experiences for first-time and low-frequency retail customers across app and web.
• Own the local product funnel from onboarding and activation through repeat purchases, retention, and reactivation.
• Develop engagement and investment features such as recurring buys, auto-invest, savings plans, price alerts, round-ups, and crypto collections.
• Work with design, engineering, data, compliance, operations, marketing, and local market teams to deliver improvements.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience in consumer fintech, crypto, digital banking, brokerage, payments, savings, or investment products.
• Hands-on experience building or optimizing consumer products for European markets, with a deep understanding of local customer behavior, payments, investment habits, and market differences.
• Proven experience improving onboarding, activation, conversion, repeat usage, retention, or assets under management.
• Strong knowledge of consumer product design, product growth, experimentation, lifecycle engagement, and retail crypto or digital banking products.
• Ability to simplify complex financial or technical products into intuitive customer journeys and independently drive cross-functional delivery.
• Fluent English and comfortable working remotely across European time zones.

Nice to have

• Experience with Simple Trading, retail products, UX, or growth at Revolut, Monzo, N26, Bitpanda, Bitvavo, or Trade Republic.
• Experience with European payment methods, including SEPA, Instant SEPA, cards, and major local methods.
• Experience launching or localizing products across multiple European countries.
• Experience with recurring investment, auto-invest, crypto bundles, portfolio analytics, round-ups, or saveback products.
• Knowledge of an additional European language.
