Head of Supply Chain Data & Analytics (AI)

Location: Europe, with regular travel across European markets and distribution sites

What you will do

• Build the Group Supply Chain Data & Analytics function, including its operating model, specialist team, capabilities, tooling, and ways of working.
• Translate the Operations Data & Analytics strategy into a roadmap covering data foundations, advanced analytics, and applied AI.
• Own operational data from source systems through the Group data platform, establishing data ownership, stewardship, governance, and quality standards.
• Create common operational metric definitions and lead the Group Operations KPI framework across cost, productivity, service, and working capital.
• Establish driver-based performance management, benchmark markets and sites, identify root causes, and turn insights into measurable improvement actions.
• Provide analytical input for strategic capital, footprint, network, transformation, S&OP, IT, and process-design decisions.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a quantitative, engineering, computer science, supply chain, business, or related discipline.
• Experience moving a non-data-native organization toward a data-driven operating model and building a Data & Analytics function from the ground up.
• Strong expertise in data ownership, stewardship, governance, BI, advanced analytics, data science, and modern data architecture.
• Experience translating AI opportunities into implemented operational use cases with measurable business value.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations, economics, and data-driven performance management.
• English at C1 professional level required; regular travel across European markets and distribution sites is expected.

Nice to have

• Experience in medtech, pharma, or another regulated distribution environment.
• Dutch or German language skills.
