Senior Financial Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Riga, Latvia; hybrid work model.

Salary: €3,000–€4,000 gross per month.

What you will do

• Own budgeting, rolling forecasts, three-year financial planning, and monthly actuals-versus-budget analysis.
• Rebuild, automate, and improve the budgeting model and underlying financial planning systems.
• Deliver cost analytics, identify optimization opportunities, and partner with budget owners on forecasts, allocations, and assumptions.
• Assess new products, projects, and initiatives through profitability analysis, business cases, financial models, unit economics, and post-implementation reviews.
• Develop stress tests, scenario analyses, and financial plans for new entities, markets, and business ventures.
• Prepare financial materials for the Board and Management Board while standardizing reporting and creating a single source of truth for financial data.

Requirements

• 4–5+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, business controlling, corporate finance, or a similar role.
• Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning, including independent process ownership.
• Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills with a strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Advanced Excel skills and the ability to turn complex financial and operational data into actionable insights.
• Strong ownership, initiative, independence, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, payments, banking, or another regulated financial services environment.
• Experience with stress testing, capital or liquidity planning, management accounting, or multiple entities.
• Experience with Power BI, SQL, budgeting and planning systems, or data automation tools.
• ACCA, CFA, CIMA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
