TL;DR
Android Developer (Kotlin Multiplatform/Automotive): Building and scaling shared mobile experiences for Android and iOS applications used in automotive diagnostics and customization, with an accent on Kotlin Multiplatform, mobile architecture, and user-centered product development. Focus on designing maintainable cross-platform features, integrating with backend and hardware teams, and solving ambiguous engineering problems in an AI-augmented workflow.

Location: Kaunas, Lithuania; hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home or another suitable location.

Salary: €4,200–€8,000 gross per month, depending on experience.

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain mobile features using a Kotlin Multiplatform codebase shared between Android and iOS.
  • Design scalable, maintainable solutions for automotive diagnostic and customization products.
  • Own technical work end-to-end, including scoping, planning, estimation, implementation, and delivery.
  • Collaborate with mobile, backend, hardware/embedded, and R&D engineers.
  • Contribute to architecture, code quality, performance, tooling, and engineering workflows.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot to accelerate development and experimentation.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin, Kotlin Multiplatform, and Android development.
  • Solid understanding of mobile architecture, cross-platform development, and shared codebases.
  • Experience designing scalable, maintainable software and managing technical debt.
  • Basic understanding of backend services, APIs, and integration patterns.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools in daily engineering work.
  • Fluency in Lithuanian and full professional proficiency in English are required.

Nice to have

  • Practical iOS or Swift development experience.
  • Experience collaborating across Android and iOS codebases.
