Location: Remote or hybrid, with candidates required to be based in Australia; Sydney, Australia.

What you will do

  • Build and ship native Android features for onboarding, accounts, cards, payments, transfers, rewards, and AI-assisted user journeys.
  • Turn complex financial flows into simple, fast, and reliable mobile experiences.
  • Collaborate with product, design, backend, and AI engineers from concept through production.
  • Own app quality, including performance, crash rates, loading states, edge cases, and release stability.
  • Use production feedback, analytics, and customer behavior to improve features after launch.
  • Integrate APIs, authentication, secure data handling, and financial workflows with strong reliability.

Requirements

  • Strong native Android development experience with Kotlin.
  • Experience shipping Android applications used by real customers.
  • Knowledge of Android architecture, Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and modern Android development.
  • Strong product sense and attention to user experience, performance, reliability, and app quality.
  • Ability to debug production issues, work through ambiguity, and move quickly without lowering quality.
  • Strong English communication is required; candidates must already be based in Australia.

Nice to have

  • Experience personally building, shipping, or scaling a serious product, platform, or system.
