Associate Quality Control (Biotech) - Nights

Location: US - Rhode Island - West Greenwich; onsite night shift, Saturday–Tuesday, 9:45pm–8:15am

Salary: $62,571.90–$84,656.10 per year

What you will do

• Execute routine quality control testing for manufacturing samples, including titer, endotoxin, bioburden, TOC, and conductivity.
• Perform centralized raw material testing, compendial testing, microbiology, environmental monitoring, and critical utilities testing.
• Manage sample receipt and aliquoting while operating laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• Generate accurate laboratory documentation and review and approve assays, documents, and records.
• Support troubleshooting, problem solving, risk escalation, training, deviations, and technical risk assessments.
• Support continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED plus 2 years of quality experience, or an associate degree plus 6 months of quality experience, or a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with analytical or biological testing according to methods or compendia is preferred.
• Experience with QC analytical systems or quality systems is preferred.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, technical writing, and structured problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team-based matrix environment, manage ambiguity, and deliver work on schedule.
• Availability for the Saturday–Tuesday night shift from 9:45pm to 8:15am is required.
