Dynamics 365 F&O Principal Consultant - Finance (D365 F&O)

Location: Remote in the United States or Canada; travel of up to 25% is required for client, project, delivery, industry event, and in-person collaboration activities in the United States and Canada, including company offices in Fargo, ND and Minneapolis, MN.

What you will do

• Lead the design, configuration, customization, integration, and testing of Dynamics 365 F&O Supply Chain Management solutions.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into process designs, functional specifications, technical solutions, and implementation plans.
• Guide business and technical stakeholders, present solution options, and demonstrate D365 SCM capabilities to clients.
• Lead data migration discussions, coordinate execution with technical teams, and validate migration accuracy.
• Provide functional leadership, identify delivery risks, develop mitigation plans, and support timely, high-quality project execution.
• Maintain knowledge of third-party software solutions and recommend complementary offerings where appropriate.

Requirements

• 8+ years of consulting experience and 5+ years leading D365 F&O implementations.
• 8+ years of software experience in a business-to-business environment.
• Experience with D365 F&O modules including Advanced Warehouse/Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, Inventory Valuation and Closing, Logistics, Product Information Management, Product Returns, and Supply Chain.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States or Canada and authorization to work for any employer in the applicable country.
• Visa sponsorship is not offered. Effective spoken and written English communication is required.

• Knowledge of third-party software vendors and complementary solutions.
