Full-Stack Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Build and maintain a web application for teachers and administrators.
• Develop lesson-planning workflows, admin user management, and publishing functionality.
• Build backend services that retrieve curriculum content and generate structured lesson plans.
• Integrate AI services, semantic search, and retrieval-augmented generation over curriculum resources.
• Implement authentication, user roles, access control, versioning, storage, and reuse of approved lesson plans.
• Collaborate with product and education stakeholders on testing, debugging, deployment, and user experience improvements.

Requirements

• Strong full-stack engineering experience with a backend-heavy profile preferred.
• Experience building web applications end to end.
• Experience with APIs, databases, authentication, and role-based access control.
• Experience with education, edtech, workflow tools, semantic search, or retrieval-augmented generation.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and a product mindset.
• Understanding of youth safeguarding, data privacy, and responsible technology use.

Nice to have

• Experience working with AI tools or LLM integrations.
• Experience in startup or early-stage environments.
