Software Engineer (TypeScript)

Location: New York, hybrid

Salary: $140,000–$260,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop features that help creators grow their audiences and businesses.
• Build custom websites and reusable tools for publication identity and customization.
• Develop audience tools for reader targeting, audience understanding, and performance analysis.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, product partners, and external customers from research and concept through implementation and deployment.
• Build and ship production web applications using TypeScript, Node/Express, React, and Postgres.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience building and shipping web applications.
• Strong initiative, ownership, clear communication, and judgment about when to work independently or ask for support.
• High standards for production systems and product quality.
• Interest in building elegant product experiences and collaborating with diverse teams.
