Base pay in Canada: $101,000–$151,000 per year

What you will do

• Design motion-forward experiences across in-app surfaces, websites, email, lifecycle communications, and product marketing.
• Create animations, motion studies, animated illustrations, iconography, and interaction patterns that explain product behavior and guide attention.
• Own visual and motion-design projects from concept and storyboarding through production and implementation.
• Contribute to product-design initiatives through user-flow mapping, interaction concepts, high-fidelity design, and prototyping.
• Develop reusable visual assets, motion patterns, guidelines, and components for product and communication systems.
• Prepare production-ready assets and specifications, collaborating with engineering to ensure accessible and performant implementation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in motion, animation, visual, communication, or product design within a product-driven environment.
• Portfolio demonstrating motion and visual-design craft across animation, interaction, illustration, storytelling, and digital product experiences.
• Strong knowledge of animation principles, including timing, pacing, easing, transitions, and choreography.
• Proficiency with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, LottieFiles, and relevant 2D/3D animation tools.
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS and production constraints, especially for email and mobile experiences.
• Experience with UX and product design, user flows, interaction design, information hierarchy, prototyping, and cross-functional collaboration.
