UX Designer (Gamedev)

Location: Stockholm, Sweden

Starting salary: 36,000 SEK per month; final salary depends on relevant experience, qualifications, and role alignment.

What you will do

• Advocate for player needs and create intuitive, engaging interfaces.
• Create mockups, wireframes, and prototypes for new interfaces and complex interactions.
• Maintain and work with complex design systems while evaluating and improving existing interfaces.
• Map player journeys, motivations, and behaviors for game features.
• Integrate UX designs into the game engine and contribute to UI and gameplay improvements.
• Collaborate with game designers, UI artists, sound designers, programmers, and project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of UX design principles and methodologies.
• Experience with complex design systems, preferably in the games industry.
• Experience working with Figma and learning new technologies and design tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
• Fluent written and spoken English required.
• Ability to work independently, take responsibility for assigned tasks, and deliver according to the project schedule.
