What you will do
- Design, develop, test, and maintain AI tools and automations that solve business problems.
- Work directly with business users to understand workflows, requirements, and pain points.
- Build prototypes, iterate based on user feedback, and support adoption.
- Debug software, maintain code documentation, and participate in code reviews.
- Integrate AI tools with existing business systems and workflows.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and cross-functional business stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 0–2+ years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in Python and TypeScript or a similar scripting/application language for AI and automation development.
- Basic proficiency in C++, Java, or Python, plus an understanding of software engineering principles.
- Ability to work directly with non-engineering business stakeholders and in multidisciplinary teams.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain required U.S. government authorizations.
Nice to have
- Internship or cooperative education experience in software development.
- Exposure to aerospace and defense business processes.
- Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, API integration, data structures, and software development methodologies.
- Experience gathering requirements from end users and using tools for requirements tracking, code review, static analysis, repositories, and automated builds.
