TL;DR
Index Client Service Specialist (Financial Indexes): Supporting institutional clients with MSCI index methodologies, products, data, tools, and applications with an accent on index construction, rebalancing, corporate events, and client communication. Focus on explaining complex investment concepts, delivering product training, coordinating cross-functional issue resolution, and improving client experience.

Location: Budapest, Hungary

Salary: HUF 9,734,000–12,654,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual bonus

What you will do

  • Develop a deep understanding of hirify.global index construction methodologies, enhancements, and new products.
  • Support global institutional clients by answering detailed questions about index products, data, tools, and methodologies.
  • Explain index construction, rebalancing, and corporate event methodologies for standard and customized indexes.
  • Train clients on product usage, tools, and applications and assist with ongoing data requests.
  • Coordinate client inquiries with Sales, Research, Product Management, Finance, and Product Delivery.
  • Conduct service reviews, communicate index developments, and lead initiatives that improve client experience and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Numerate bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in client relationship management.
  • Fluent English required; another European language is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex methodologies clearly.
  • Good understanding of capital markets and investment products, with an interest in financial-market developments.
  • Strong organization skills and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Nice to have

  • CFA qualification.
  • Knowledge of another European language.
