Warehouse Agent (Logistics)

What you will do

• Handle warehouse operations for air, ocean export, gateway, and domestic shipments.
• Unload trucks, verify freight against receiving documents, and reconcile quantities and shipment details.
• Inspect and report overage, shortage, or damaged freight, including documenting exceptions and taking photographs.
• Receive and handle dangerous goods in accordance with training and applicable requirements.
• Maintain warehouse security, including monitoring access, driver check-in, identification, safety vests, locked doors, and truck safety procedures.
• Support on-time freight building and loading, productivity targets, warehouse cleanliness, customer service, and issue escalation.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the global logistics industry.
• Proficiency with software such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• English language proficiency required.
• Problem-solving, communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Ability to follow company policies, federal regulations, operational standards, and warehouse security procedures.

Nice to have

• Forklift truck license.
• Experience or training in dangerous goods handling.
