Senior Engineer I - Quality (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Support customers proactively and reactively, with a focus on quality assurance and customer satisfaction.
• Organize, write, and present technical reports, including 8D reports, to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Track failure analysis requests and communicate status updates to field engineers and customers.
• Manage quality responsibilities for key accounts and address customer requirements internally.
• Support environmental, reliability, quality, and product-related customer requirements.
• Participate in benchmarking programs, business reviews, quality reviews, and customer meetings.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• At least five years of relevant industry or position experience.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Application-level or system-level technical experience.
• Organized and structured approach, with flexibility and willingness to travel as required.
• Ability to work sensitively and effectively with globally and culturally diverse personnel.

Nice to have

• Semiconductor industry experience and knowledge of wafer fabrication, assembly, testing, or failure analysis laboratories.
• Statistical knowledge, including capability analysis, distributions, and data manipulation.
• Knowledge of 8D quality problem-solving and similar methodologies.
• Familiarity with automotive and aerospace industries and standards such as AS9100, IATF-16949, and PPAP.
