Compliance Internship - Luxembourg (AI/Data Analytics)

Location: Luxembourg, Luxembourg; hybrid schedule with office work 4 days per week and remote work 1 day per week.

What you will do

• Support the design, development and maintenance of AML/CFT dashboards and management information.
• Analyse compliance data from multiple sources, validate data quality and communicate actionable findings.
• Identify repetitive activities suitable for automation and develop practical solutions using approved technology and AI tools.
• Streamline data collection, tracking and reporting for CSSF, AMLA, compliance monitoring, governance committees and boards.
• Support compliance monitoring tools by testing workflows, tracking issues and preparing follow-up reporting.

Requirements

• Current enrolment in or recent completion of a bachelor's or master's degree in data science, information systems, business analytics, finance, economics, law or a related discipline.
• Experience with data analysis and visualisation tools; Power BI or a comparable dashboarding platform is strongly preferred.
• Hands-on familiarity with generative AI or other AI-enabled productivity tools, including responsible handling of confidential data and validation of outputs.
• Practical knowledge of Excel and at least one data or automation technology such as Python, SQL, Power Query or Power Automate.
• Ability to structure data, identify patterns and communicate findings through clear visuals and concise written commentary.
• Fluent English is required; additional European languages are advantageous.

Nice to have

• Interest or prior experience in financial services, investment funds, regulation, compliance or risk management.
• Additional European language skills.
