What you will do

• Evaluate materials, properties, components, systems, and production techniques from a product reliability perspective.
• Advise design engineering on the selection, application, and testing of electronic components and systems.
• Define reliability requirements and recommend design methods, test methods, and statistical process control procedures.
• Develop acceleration techniques, analytical tools, reliability models, and ERAMS to identify potential product, packaging, and process issues early.
• Develop and implement quality assurance programs, policies, documentation processes, and receiving inspection procedures.
• Perform FMECA, document CRAMS, coordinate supplier and engineering test plans, perform PQP at suppliers, and manage multiple projects.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in a specialized quality, reliability, or engineering discipline.
• Ability to interpret business and engineering challenges and recommend best practices.
• Experience solving complex problems through sophisticated analytical judgment.
• Ability to communicate difficult concepts and negotiate technical decisions with stakeholders.
• Ability to work in Austin, Texas.
