TL;DR
Technical Administrator (Biopharma Manufacturing): Supporting downstream vaccine production and technical administration in a GMP manufacturing environment with an accent on aseptic processing, purification, sterile filtration, production data, and process documentation. Focus on operating purification equipment, completing SAP and production records, investigating deviations, implementing process improvements, and maintaining inspection-ready production areas.
Location: Toronto, ON, Canada; onsite. Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM.
Pay rate: $49.34 per hour.

What you will do
- Administer downstream production activities, including reviewing batch production records, SOPs, logbooks, and monitoring charts.
- Operate centrifuges, column chromatography, ultrafiltration units, and sterile filtration equipment for CP antigen purification.
- Prepare analytical tests such as Lowry, Bradford, and SDS-PAGE, and support troubleshooting and deviation investigations.
- Complete SAP, Pharm Net Web, LIMS, shop-floor, master data, and change request activities accurately and on time.
- Support facility, equipment, and process improvement projects, including documentation and IQ, OQ, and PQ activities.
- Maintain GMP, HSE, 5S, housekeeping, corrective action, CAPA, CCR, and inspection-readiness standards.
Requirements
- Minimum four-year bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Bioengineering, or a related field, plus at least four years of relevant experience.
- Alternatively, a preferred two-year master's degree in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Bioengineering, or a related field, plus at least three years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of microbiology, fermentation, chemistry, mathematics, cGMP, cGLP, aseptic techniques, and basic mechanical principles.
- Experience or knowledge of SAP, Visio, AutoCAD, MS Access, JMP, technical writing, problem solving, and troubleshooting.
- Must work onsite in Toronto, ON.
