Senior Data Engineer - Data Lakehouse Lead

What you will do

• Define and evolve the technical design and data modelling approach for the shared Data Lakehouse.
• Lead the implementation of shared datasets and reusable data products for Analytics, AI, and other data-driven use cases.
• Define patterns for data ingestion, transformation, storage, and consumption.
• Translate business and analytical needs into data objectives, engineering priorities, and a coherent Lakehouse roadmap.
• Align scope, objectives, and expected outcomes with Analytics and other technical and business stakeholders.
• Guide Data Engineers on complex engineering problems and improve platform usability, scalability, performance, maintainability, and cost efficiency.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience in Data Engineering and modern data platforms.
• Strong knowledge of data modelling, modern Lakehouse architectures, data pipelines, transformations, and data products at scale.
• Understanding of data quality, metadata, lineage, and data governance.
• Experience translating business and analytical requirements into data solutions.
• Strong planning, prioritization, architectural, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to provide technical leadership and communicate data models and technical decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
