Finance Manager Nigeria Abuja

Location: Abuja, Nigeria; duty station in Abuja with a 24-month renewable contract.

What you will do

• Oversee finance policies, procedures, strategies, and initiatives across the country and area offices.
• Manage direct reports and provide technical supervision to finance staff in area offices.
• Develop and maintain country financial documents, procedures, guidance, tools, and strategy.
• Control the country budget, monitor cash flows, and ensure accurate budgeting, accounting, and year-end processes.
• Train NRC staff and partners on financial and budgeting responsibilities.
• Implement anti-corruption controls across finance operations.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in a senior finance role with managerial responsibility in a humanitarian or recovery context.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Working proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• Experience in risk management with implementing partners and in remote management.
• Experience in Central or West Africa is preferred.
• Ability to handle insecure environments, plan and deliver results, analyse, communicate respectfully, and adapt to change.
