Expert Gameplay Programmer (Frostpunk 1886)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid work with 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely

What you will do

• Plan, prototype, develop, and maintain gameplay features.
• Participate in the design of gameplay features and solutions.
• Evaluate new technologies and identify opportunities to apply them to gameplay code.
• Debug and optimize gameplay code while analyzing technical risks and requirements.
• Promote good programming practices and share knowledge within the programming team.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional programming experience in the gamedev industry.
• At least 2 years of professional experience with Unreal Engine.
• Expert practical knowledge of C++.
• Expert knowledge of gameplay solutions used in modern video games.
• Good communication skills and awareness of current technology trends.
• Willingness to work from the Warsaw office 3 days per week in a hybrid model.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of city-builder or strategy game development.
