Manufacturing Associate - All Levels - Nights (Cell Therapy & Mammalian Manufacturing)

Location: Portsmouth, NH, USA; onsite night-shift manufacturing role

Nights and weekend shifts include additional pay.

What you will do

• Work in Grade B cleanrooms with full sterile gowning and perform aseptic processing in laminar flow hoods.
• Receive, process, expand, and cryopreserve patient-derived primary cells.
• Complete cGMP documentation for individualized patient batches.
• Operate 2,000L, 6,000L, and 20,000L mammalian cell culture bioreactors across upstream and downstream processes.
• Set up equipment, monitor production, and perform clean-in-place and steam-in-place operations.
• Conduct in-process testing, including pH, conductivity, and metabolite analysis, and document production according to GMP and GDP requirements.

Requirements

• Ability to work a rotating 12-hour night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM, including every other weekend.
• High School Diploma required for all experience levels.
• Foundational candidates may apply without prior biotechnology experience and should demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Intermediate roles require 1–5 years of experience in regulated manufacturing or clinical laboratories.
• Advanced roles require 5+ years of GMP experience, including leading complex operations, mentoring, and owning deviations.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in STEM is preferred for intermediate and advanced roles.

Nice to have

• Experience with aseptic technique, cleanrooms, or bioreactors.
