Data & Analytics Intern (Azure/Python)

Location: Moscow, Russia; hybrid schedule. Candidates must be based in Moscow or ready to relocate to Moscow with company support.

Salary: 110,000 RUB gross per month. An additional monthly lunch and flexibility allowance of 5,000 RUB gross is provided.

What you will do

• Support the full data lifecycle, including data integrity, accessibility, management, and transformation into actionable insights.
• Maintain data assets, implement data quality checks, manage stakeholder requests, and support data domain ownership.
• Use SQL and NoSQL databases to store and manage large datasets.
• Gather, clean, process, analyze, and visualize data to identify KPIs, trends, anomalies, and root causes.
• Develop statistical models for forecasting and provide recommendations for business optimization.
• Participate in training and collaborate with local and global data communities.

Requirements

• Based in Moscow or ready to relocate to Moscow with company support.
• Final-year student or recent graduate, up to two years after graduation.
• English at Upper-Intermediate level or higher.
• Python and SQL programming skills, with experience writing clean and effective code.
• Strength in Project Management, Data Engineering, or Data Analytics, with sufficient knowledge of the other two areas.
• Availability for a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD tools, SCRUM, or DevOps methodologies.
• Knowledge of Big Data ecosystems such as Hadoop or Azure.
• Experience with KNIME, Power BI, Tableau, or Spotfire.
• Education in Statistics, Mathematics, Applied Informatics, Business Management, or a related field.
