TL;DR
Developer, Product Development (Temp) (Fashion accessories): Developing bags, wallets, and accessories to meet design, quality, cost, and timeline requirements with an accent on product aesthetics, materials, sampling, and cross-functional coordination. Focus on managing sample approvals, maintaining product information accuracy, and coordinating vendors, engineering, sourcing, and regional teams through commercialization.

What you will do

  • Develop bags, wallets, accessories, and related products according to design requirements, quality standards, target costs, and timelines.
  • Communicate daily with the Head of Development and regional office to secure aesthetic and cost approvals.
  • Coordinate with engineering, service providers, third-party vendors, and local cross-functional teams.
  • Track sample and costing schedules and follow up through production.
  • Support sample approvals at different stages from product development through commercialization.
  • Maintain accurate product information and ensure product correctness across functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant product development experience.
  • Experience developing or producing bags, wallets, accessories, or related products.
  • Knowledge of leather, fabrics, printing, and embroidery techniques.
  • Good regional sourcing connections and strong attention to product aesthetics and detail.
  • Ability to work flexibly under pressure and on tight schedules in a multicultural environment.
  • Strong written and spoken Vietnamese and English communication skills are required. Good computer skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, are also required.

  • Experience with an internationally operating brand.
