Project Manager - Gas Service (Oman)

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end execution of Gas Service projects for large gas turbines, including long-term service agreements, outages, modifications, and modernization projects.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, opportunities, and change control.
• Ensure compliance with project management methodology, contractual requirements, quality standards, and Zero Harm principles.
• Coordinate international cross-functional teams, suppliers, regional organizations, Centers of Competence, and external partners.
• Secure timely delivery of materials, services, and technical documentation.
• Build customer relationships and lead project reviews and progress meetings.

Requirements

• Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• 8–10 years of experience in the power generation industry.
• Experience with gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators is preferred.
• Strong technical, commercial, and customer-facing experience.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional and international teams in a matrix organization.
• Experience with installation, commissioning, or outage execution is an advantage.

Nice to have

• Internationally recognized project management certification such as PMP, IPMA, or equivalent.
