TL;DR
Verification and Validation Engineer (Security Systems): Performing system-level verification and validation for a large security system during and after deployment, including customer acceptance and dedicated test campaigns. Focus on writing test procedures and reports, driving software release verification, investigating defects, and coordinating testing across development and customer teams.
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with frequent travel to remote sensor sites across Saudi Arabia and occasional international travel.

What you will do
- Perform system-level verification and validation for a large security system during and after deployment.
- Plan and support test campaigns, including load, stress, performance, and customer acceptance testing.
- Prepare and review test procedures, problem reports, and test reports.
- Verify software releases and features, track defects, retest fixes, and support root-cause analysis.
- Work closely with development teams, customers, and other V&V engineers.
- Use tools and methods including DOORS, Jira, and Quality Center.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in system verification and validation, with knowledge of INCOSE and international systems engineering standards, or ISTQB certification.
- Experience writing test procedures and test reports, planning deliverables, and performing system-level testing.
- Strong analytical, engineering, communication, presentation, listening, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent written and spoken English is essential.
- Ability to work in the cultural environment of Saudi Arabia and travel frequently to remote sites is required.
Nice to have
- PMP or ISTQB certification.
- Experience with large integration projects and direct customer interfaces.
- Knowledge of networking, storage, servers, virtualization, and systems or network administration.
- Arabic communication skills and a driving license.
