Senior Costing Analyst (Automotive)

Location: Bratislava Business Centre, Slovakia; hybrid working with up to 3 remote days per week by department agreement, including possible remote days from abroad. Occasional travel is required.

Salary: From €2,150 gross per month, with potential for a higher offer based on experience.

What you will do

• Develop product cost estimates covering materials, equipment, labor, cycle times, tooling, and capital requirements.
• Review bills of materials and manufacturing assumptions for accuracy and reasonableness.
• Prepare risk and opportunity summaries for quotations and develop pro-formas for new manufacturing facilities.
• Build and refine benchmark cost models, set purchased-item targets, and support Purchasing negotiations.
• Communicate and educate the organization on costing data while bridging financial and operational information.
• Contribute to global costing procedures, departmental initiatives, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, or Engineering.
• 3–4 years of experience in costing, financial analysis, plant controlling, process engineering, or a related financial or technical role.
• Experience in the automotive industry.
• Fluent English is required.
• Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel, interpersonal skills, and teamwork abilities.
