Senior Data Analyst – Wholesale Banking & Advanced Analytics (AI)

Location: Istanbul, Vadistanbul Park, Türkiye. Hybrid model with office attendance two days per week during three weeks of each month and one fully remote week per month. Remote working opportunities are also available throughout August.

What you will do

• Analyze large and complex datasets using SQL, Python, and PySpark.
• Develop reporting solutions, dashboards, and visualizations with Power BI, Cognos, or similar BI platforms.
• Identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities across Wholesale Banking processes.
• Translate business requirements into analytical solutions and actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Process Leaders, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists on scalable analytics products.
• Support data quality, profiling, predictive analytics, machine learning, and AI-enabled initiatives while mentoring junior analysts.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in data analytics, reporting, statistics, or a related field.
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on Python experience, particularly PySpark.
• Experience with large datasets, complex data environments, data visualization, and BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, or Superset.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis, reporting methodologies, and quantitative problem-solving.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Advanced English proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Experience with dbt, modern data platforms, financial services, banking analytics, or data pipelines.
