Director, Finance Operations (AI)

Location: Shugart, Singapore. Travel: None.

What you will do

• Lead financial strategy, annual planning, forecasting, and long-range planning for Global Procurement, Commodity Management, and Supply Chain Operations.
• Develop business cases, scenario analyses, cost insights, and recommendations for supplier negotiations, sourcing alternatives, pricing, and total cost of ownership.
• Manage budgets and forecasts, monitor performance, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
• Expand dashboards, self-service analytics, automation, predictive analytics, and generative AI across finance planning, reporting, and decision-making.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives that simplify, standardize, and modernize finance processes.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a global finance team while building capabilities in analytics, data literacy, digital tools, and AI.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• At least 12 years of progressive finance experience, including leadership experience.
• Significant experience supporting Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, or related functions.
• Experience in financial planning and analysis, cost analysis, working-capital management, and operational finance.
• Practical experience applying AI, including generative AI, to finance or operational planning, forecasting, reporting, analytics, decision-making, or productivity.
• Advanced capability in analytics, data visualization, business intelligence, executive communication, and presentation.

Nice to have

• MBA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent qualification.
• Certification or formal credential in AI, generative AI, machine learning, data science, or data analytics.
• Experience in technology, manufacturing, data storage, semiconductor, or global supply chain environments.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale transformation.
• Proficiency with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, or comparable platforms.
