What you will do

  • Act as a strategic business partner and lead initiatives that raise standards of care and influence clinical practice.
  • Drive integrated evidence planning and execution through stakeholder needs assessment and data gap analysis.
  • Develop and implement medical plans and risk minimisation measures for the diabetes therapy area.
  • Build collaborative relationships with marketing, market access, health economics, regulatory, clinical, regional, and global teams.
  • Maintain relationships with external experts and create relevant, interactive digital educational and scientific content.
  • Champion the patient voice while influencing, coaching, and mentoring across networks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, medicine, or an equivalent medical degree; a Medical Degree, PhD, or PharmD is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of industry experience in medical affairs and/or clinical experience, ideally in a relevant therapy area.
  • Understanding of clinical development, real-world evidence, data generation, and data gap analysis.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to lead challenging discussions and adapt engagement to healthcare professional preferences.
  • Experience with omnichannel tools and the ability to adapt to new communication channels.
  • Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and communicate unmet healthcare professional and patient needs compliantly.
