Finance Manager (Software)

Location: Stockholm, Sweden; hybrid work environment

What you will do

• Lead the finance function for a portfolio of Nordic software companies with support from internal and offshore finance resources.
• Oversee accounting operations, customer contracts, expenses, accruals, treasury, and banking activities.
• Prepare and review GAAP financial statements, board reporting, budgets, KPIs, and variance analyses.
• Provide financial insights through budget-to-actual, revenue, and expense analysis to support business decisions.
• Lead the financial integration of acquisitions and implement initiatives identified during the M&A process.
• Drive finance process improvements, document SOPs, and establish consistent best practices across the portfolio.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• Recognized professional accounting designation such as CPA or CA.
• Fluency in English and a Nordic language is required; Swedish is preferred.
• Experience leading teams, implementing change, delegating work, and coordinating offshore resources.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with senior business executives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-orientation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with U.S. GAAP and software businesses.
• Experience integrating acquisitions, transitioning systems, or designing financial processes.
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite.
• Interest in entrepreneurship, software, and finance.
