Software Engineer (Java/Vue)

What you will do

• Design, build, test, debug, and operate reliable features using Java, Vue, and other technologies.
• Develop and maintain information systems and integrations involving APIs, messaging, data consistency, and production failure handling.
• Extend and improve long-lived codebases and support data delivery products in daily operations.
• Contribute to automated testing, code reviews, documentation, and agile delivery with product and quality partners.
• Use approved AI-assisted development tools while validating code through testing, review, and operational checks.

Requirements

• Professional experience building backend or full-stack software in a commercial or product team.
• Strong fundamentals in runtime behavior, relational databases, SQL, debugging, data structures, and complexity awareness.
• Understanding of source-of-truth design, concurrent updates, integration failures, and idempotency.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code and contribute to code reviews.
• Clear communication in English, ownership of assigned areas, and willingness to learn Spring, Vue, Kafka, internal platforms, and approved AI workflows.
• Understanding of data classification, security requirements, and restrictions on sharing information with external AI tools.

Nice to have

• Production experience with Java and Spring or Vue.
• Experience with Kafka or similar asynchronous integration technologies.
• Experience modernizing or extending large, long-lived codebases.
• Full-stack delivery across APIs and user interfaces.
• Examples of AI-assisted development with verified outcomes.
