Lead Software Engineer (AI/ML)

What you will do

• Design, fine-tune, and deploy open-source and commercial large language models, including Llama, Mistral, and OpenAI GPT.
• Build prompt-engineering, few-shot prompting, NLP/NLU, and agent-based AI workflows.
• Develop reusable Python pipelines and architect APIs, microservices, and cloud-based AI/ML systems.
• Lead architecture, design, implementation, code quality, incident resolution, and production troubleshooting.
• Lead and mentor a 10-member technical team while collaborating with stakeholders and engineering teams.

Requirements

• 8–12 years of industry experience, including 3+ years in senior or lead roles delivering ML/AI solutions in cloud environments.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification.
• Advanced Python expertise for ETL pipelines, object-oriented design, optimization, testing, and packaging.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MSSQL and with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience deploying and scaling AI/ML services using containers, serverless technologies, and infrastructure as code.
• Proven mentoring, system-design, cross-team leadership, organization, and technical communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with C++, PySpark, Databricks, ML lifecycle tools, CI/CD, monitoring, and model governance.
• Knowledge of secure cloud design, IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
