Program Manager (German Civil Government)

Location: Berlin, Germany; hybrid role requiring work from the Berlin office 3 days per week

Salary: €72,990–€91,260 gross annually, plus potential commission, discretionary bonuses, and equity.

hirify.global designs, builds, and operates a constellation of imaging satellites and provides cloud-based remote-sensing data and platform solutions for commercial, environmental, humanitarian, and government users.

What you will do

• Drive complex projects that scale government customer adoption of the hirify.global Platform and data products.
• Collaborate with Professional Services Engineering, PreSales, Product Management, customers, and other stakeholders to define project scope, strategy, and success metrics.
• Translate business and technical requirements into clear deliverables and manage detailed project schedules.
• Track execution, project costs, budgets, risks, performance, and customer satisfaction.
• Design and improve operational processes to increase delivery scalability and efficiency.
• Manage subcontractor contracts, task assignments, deliverables, and budgets.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of relevant project management experience, including proposal development for government or defense-sector customers.
• Fluency in written and spoken German and English.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience with remote sensing, Earth observation data, or imaging technologies.
• Experience working with or as part of the civil government community.
• Ability to manage complex cross-functional projects in technical or product development environments.

Nice to have

• Understanding of platform development, platform integrations, or geospatial data-as-a-service offerings.
• Experience initiating program improvements or developing new initiatives.
• Experience working with globally distributed teams.
