QC Analyst Biotech

Location: Beerse, Antwerp, Belgium; based at the Janssen Beerse QC laboratory

Salary: €54,570–€73,830 gross annual pay range for Belgium

What you will do

• Perform analytical testing of samples from the CAR-T production process in compliance with specifications, procedures, GMP regulations, and safety requirements.
• Review laboratory data and contribute to functional and cross-laboratory meetings as a QC representative.
• Author and update SOPs, work instructions, and protocols in the document management system.
• Support laboratory investigations, CAPAs, and internal audits.
• Accommodate weekend shift work in a later phase when required by clinical or commercial demand.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in a scientific or related field.
• At least two years of experience in a cGMP-compliant QC laboratory or equivalent.
• Knowledge of biological and biochemical analytical data, QC analytical technologies, and aseptic techniques; CAR-T experience is required.
• Experience with cellular or molecular techniques such as qPCR, flow cytometry, and potency assays.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of compendial requirements such as USP, EP, and JP.
