PLM Excellence Manager (Grid Technology): Defining and improving Product Lifecycle Management operating models, governance, processes, and performance reporting for energy storage and grid technology solutions with an accent on cross-functional alignment, R&D planning, and operational excellence. Focus on standardizing lifecycle methodologies, leading transformation initiatives, and deploying governance and KPI frameworks across international clusters.
Location: Bucharest, Romania; hybrid remote/office. Willingness to travel in Europe approximately 25% is required.

What you will do
- Define, maintain and continuously improve the PLM-SO operating model, governance structures, planning processes, review forums and decision rights.
- Harmonize PLM processes and standard ways of working across clusters and maintain alignment with corporate PLM frameworks and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate interfaces between Product Management, Portfolio Management, Engineering, Quality, Tendering, Execution and Services.
- Define R&D planning, milestone management, review and project-health assessment practices.
- Develop PLM and R&D performance KPIs, dashboards and reporting mechanisms for management decisions.
- Lead cross-functional transformation initiatives covering governance, operating models, organizational interfaces, digitalization and adoption of new ways of working.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related technical discipline.
- 5–8 years of professional experience in Product Lifecycle Management, product planning or engineering management within the energy or grid technology sector.
- Experience leading cross-functional process improvement initiatives and complex projects in an international environment.
- Knowledge of PLM methodologies, quality gate governance, Agile and Waterfall project management approaches.
- Leadership, governance, stakeholder management, change management and continuous improvement capabilities.
- Technical expertise in systems engineering, including design, integration, verification and optimization of complex systems.
