Solution Architect Medior (Energy & Utilities)

What you will do

• Collaborate with senior architects and consultants to design customized technology solutions for energy-sector clients.
• Build client relationships and contribute to solution delivery from initial workshops through go-live.
• Analyze business data, market processes, and technical constraints to develop solution recommendations.
• Support project delivery across agile cycles by tracking deliverables, risks, and quality standards.
• Work with business analysts, developers, data engineers, and infrastructure specialists to ensure effective execution.
• Contribute to proposals, RFP responses, architecture reviews, and innovation workshops.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of relevant IT experience, including 1 year in consulting or advisory work.
• Understanding of consulting methodologies, project delivery, and energy-sector trends.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, SAP, MECOMS/Dynamics, Siemens EnergyIP, ATRIAS, or Synergrid, or motivation to develop expertise in these platforms.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills for technical and business audiences.
• Fluency in English, Dutch, or French is required for work across Belgium’s multilingual energy market.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as an MBA or Master’s in Engineering or Computer Science.
• TOGAF Foundation, Azure Fundamentals, Certified Scrum Master, SAFe, or Prince2 Foundation certification.
