Lab Analyst, QC Micro (Microbiology)

Location: Marsa, Malta

Salary: €27,200 minimum annually, with the possibility of higher pay based on skills, expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.

What you will do

• Conduct and coordinate microbiological testing required at the plant.
• Perform aseptic sampling, bioburden testing of water and medical devices, and environmental testing.
• Prepare microbiological media and cultures and carry out spectrophotometric analysis.
• Operate laboratory instrumentation and support sterilization-related activities.
• Compile documentation according to GMP requirements and perform test method validations.
• Manage laboratory stock and maintain laboratory upkeep.

Requirements

• Science-related degree or another qualification in chemistry, biology, or medical laboratory science.
• 1–2 years of experience in a certified laboratory environment.
• Microbiology laboratory experience is considered an asset.
