Location: Leipzig, Germany; on-site interpretation and site inspections are required.

Work with an established Irish construction and engineering organisation delivering large-scale commercial, residential, healthcare, education, infrastructure, and industrial projects across Ireland, the UK, and Europe.
What you will do
- Translate health and safety protocols, training materials, emergency procedures, blueprints, technical specifications, equipment manuals, legal contracts, and project bids.
- Provide verbal interpretation during client meetings, safety briefings, contractor negotiations, and site inspections.
- Proofread and edit translated materials for grammar, technical precision, and local regulatory compliance.
- Maintain bilingual glossaries covering engineering, architecture, and building-material terminology.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Modern Languages, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
- Proven experience translating technical or industrial content.
- Familiarity with CAT tools and standard office software.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts across language and cultural barriers.
