Operation Planner (Wave Planner) (Logistics): Optimizing warehouse and logistics workloads through load-level, wave, and delivery planning with an accent on EWM wave management, capacity balancing, and operational support. Focus on analyzing workload peaks, coordinating production and logistics stakeholders, and driving continuous improvements in planning processes.
Location: Veldhoven, Netherlands. The role starts on a two-shift support schedule with regular on-site work: 06:30–15:30 or 15:00–00:00, four days per week, plus one weekend shift every four weeks. Work from home is available for a maximum of one day per week under the current policy.

What you will do
- Plan and balance warehouse workloads through load-level planning, wave planning, delivery timing, and priority adjustments.
- Monitor outbound deliveries, workload peaks, warehouse capacity, delivery creation rules, and EWM-generated exceptions.
- Manage EWM waves and support the stock-to-factory process for centralized warehouse logistics.
- Coordinate with Production Planning, Cleanroom Logistics, Material Handling, warehouse teams, and the 3PL to resolve operational issues.
- Provide first-line planning support, lead daily and weekly stakeholder meetings, and report performance and volume measurements.
- Identify process improvements, analyze planning trends, and participate in or lead continuous improvement projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Operations Management and Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
- Hands-on experience in a technical production or warehouse environment.
- Experience with troubleshooting and structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Knowledge of SAP and excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Analytical, proactive, service-minded, and self-steering approach with strong communication and stakeholder-management skills; flexibility to work shifts and weekends.
